The
International Summer English Program
This unique program is
designed to provide students with an
interactive
opportunity to improve their English, in the Toronto area. The city and its
suburbs are one of the most ethnically diverse in the world. It is
Canada’s largest city as well as one of the safest and cleanest
cities in the world. This venue provides ideal circumstances for
learning the English language and developing an appreciation for the warm,
welcoming culture that Canada has to offer.
English
in the Classroom/Gymnasium and the Outside World
Our staff includes certified Canadian teachers who are members of
the Ontario College of teachers. Our collective
experience covers Elementary, Secondary and University levels of
education. These teachers are dedicated to providing students with
the best possible opportunities to improve their English while ensuring that
they enjoy their visit to Canada.
English
speaking, listening, reading
and writing will be covered in the classroom and in the gymnasium
and reinforced during
extra-curricular activities.
Sports Activities
A truly unique feature of our program is our affiliation with the
Varsity Sports Academy. This offers students
the option of participating with Canadian students in a variety of
sports- TENNIS, BASKETBALL, SOCCER and VOLLEYBALL. Students will
receive their COACHING CERTIFICATION certificate through the new
CANADIAN NATIONAL COACHING CERTIFICATION PROGRAM (NCCP). More information

Internship
Co-op
Another
optional activity will enable students to fulfill their internship
or co-op requirements as set by their school guidelines.
SAT
test
Our qualified staff will offer the students the opportunity to study
for their SAT tests.
Students will have the
opportunity to practice their language skills on excursions and in
real-life situations within the community. This will be accomplished
in part, through weekly excursions to a variety of interesting
attractions, such as:

Canada’s Wonderland
Learn English while being thrilled by Canada’s largest amusement Park!
It includes a water park and a large
variety of exciting rides.

Niagara Falls
Learn English while exploring one of the seven natural wonders of the world with a boat
ride, on the famous Maid of the Mist, to the base of the falls.
Twenty percent of the world's freshwater lies in the Great Lakes, and most flows over Niagara Falls.
Experience the thunderous
roar of millions of litres of water per second crashing against the
rocks around you.

Learn English while watching an exciting profesional Canadian
sports team in
one of the world's most advanced blends of architecture and

get to see the massive dome open or close high above you!

Tennis Centre
Students will have the opportunity to play tennis at the world class
Rexall tennis centre that hosts the worlds top players each

This
world class venue is home
to the Toronto Raptors NBA Basketball team, and the
Toronto Maple Leafs NHL hockey team. Learn English while touring this beautiful sports
centre. Although the professional basketball and hockey seasons
are traditionally start in the fall and end in the spring. They
sometimes hold special hockey and basketball games in the off

Algonquin Park
Students will spend several days in one of Canada’s
largest, most impressive provincial parks. Here they will take part in
a variety of interesting outdoor activities including including the opportunity to
learn canoeing. Use your English skills while experiencing the
rugged beauty of Canadas nature. |

The program is best suited to high school students in grades 9-12.
Students are requested to respect certain standards of behaviour,

Students will be welcomed by carefully selected host families within
the school community in Richmond Hill, approximately 20 minutes from
the city of Toronto. The host family is an integral part of the Canadian
cultural experience.
